Started On My Novel Today

KILLING JEWELS

(Novel of the Screenplay)

She floated in a silent sea of darkness.  Nothing could touch her here.  No sound.  No light.  No fear.

Now, why had she thought of fear?

She tried to concentrate.  Tried to remember what she had been afraid of.  It was something very important.  Something that she needed to remember, but her brain felt sluggish and thick and the memory floated just out of her reach and she was too tired to try and pull it in.  It was better to just relax and float away in this wonderful, black, cozy sea where fear and pain didn't exist.

OK Guys.  This is it.  Above is the beginning of my novel.  I'm putting my screenplay, 'Killing Jewels' into novel form in order to flesh-out the characters and plot in my head.  I'm thinking that my screenplay will be more fluid and organic if I have the character's deepest thoughts and feelings in my head.  Putting them into a novel will definitely bring out their deeper characters.

Gotta run.  I have a screenwriter's workshop to attend today at Universal Studios.
